As I was going through Rachel & Jeremy’s wedding images, I noticed that my second shooter Elaine took a few with me in them! :) I thought it might be neat to share a few behind the scenes with the resulting images. A big thank you to Elaine for these!
Rachel & Jeremy are exiting the church to lots of clapping and bubbles – if you look closely you can see me (in black) on their right, and their videographer to their left. Usually when the couple is exiting down the aisle, I’ll begin about halfway down and walk backwards toward the exit, photographing as I go:
And here’s what I got:
Here I am out in the field for a few portraits with Rachel and her bridesmaids. If you look on the left, you’ll see something brown & white on the ground – the brown part is the blanket I bring along for ‘sitting’ portraits, and to rest things on we’d like to keep off the ground (like Rachel’s fur bolero). I think some photographers prefer using a white blanket for this, but I really like how my brown one blends in.
Here it is in use! Rachel is now wearing the fur bolero, and you can just see the blanket beneath her…. but I bet you wouldn’t have noticed it if I hadn’t told you, right? ;)

And that’s it!
If any of you lovely readers have questions about wedding ‘behind-the-scenes’, feel free to leave a comment or send me an email; I’d be happy to do a Q&A post!
Happy Tuesday everyone!
